MASTERCLASS IN SANGANXA MUSIC STORE

Next Saturday, January 3nd I will be in Sanganxa Music Store (Llanera de Ranes, Valencia) teaching a tuba and euphonium Masterclass. I will speech also a breathing conference and workshop about how practice the mouthpiece effectively.



All these activities are part of a tuba month to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Sanganxa.

The speech will start at 4pm and it will be openend to al wind musicians.

Afterwards, in the workshop, I´m going to speak about how to practice the mouthpiece effectively.



Finally I will present the Masterclass called "Development of basic skills in teh tuba and euphonium". We are going to work the following subjects.

WHAT IS NEEDED TO PRODUCE SOUND?

• Breathing ejercieses.

• Vibrating of lips.

• Mouthpiece practice.

HOW DOMINATE OUR INSTRUMENT?

- Individual work of harmonic tubes.

• Breath control.

• Development of low registre.

• Flexibility.

• Lip trills.

- Combination of all harmonic tubes.

• Cromatics.

• Scales and arppegies.

• studies.
